Former Irish Ambassador to the United States, the UK, Germany and Malaysia. Inaugural Global Distinguished Professor of Irish Studies at Glucksman Ireland House, New York University and former Fellow of Magdalene College, Cambridge and of Harvard University’s Institute of Politics. Prolific author and public speaker specialising in Irish history, literature, culture and folklore.

Chapman's creations have generated over US$ 22 billion on global sales to date. Keith received an Honorary Doctorate from Norwich University of the Arts in 2009 and was presented with an Honorary Lifetime Achievement Award at the UK Licensing Awards in 2018.
